general check-in information


transavia.com offers the following check-in possibilities:
  • via the Internet in the case of departure from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Rotterdam, Eindhoven Airport, Paris-Orly or Copenhagen
  • at the Self-service machines at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and Copenhagen
  • at the counters at the airport
Please note: you can find the check-in counters of transavia.com at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol in Departure hall 3.

Checking in via the Internet
For flights from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Rotterdam, Eindhoven Airport, Paris-Orly and Copenhagen which you booked directly through www.transavia.com or the transavia.com call centre, you:
  • may check in from 24 hours prior to departure of the flight
  • may make your own seat selection and print the boarding pass
  • continue to the gate immediately if you only have hand luggage
  • deliver your luggage at the transavia.com luggage drop-off point

Please note: online check-in is only possible for your flights departing from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Rotterdam, Eindhoven Paris-Orly or Copenhagen. For flights that depart from other airports, Internet Check-In is unfortunately not yet possible.

Checking in by using the kiosk at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol
  • for all flights departing from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol
  • for an unlimited number of persons, of whom a maximum of 6 may have the same surname
  • from two and a half hours to 40 minutes (at the latest) prior to departure of the flight
  • if you have a passport or credit card as proof of identity
  • if your hand luggage meets the requirements with regard to weight and measurement limitations
Checking in by using the kiosk at Copenhagen Airport
  • for all flights departing from Copenhagen Airport
  • for an unlimited number of persons, of whom a maximum of 6 may have the same surname
  • from two hours to 40 minutes (at the latest) prior to departure of the flight
  • if you have a passport or credit card as proof of identity
  • if your hand luggage meets the requirements with regard to weight and measurement limitations

Check-in counters at the airport
We recommend that you check in well in advance of the planned departure time. If you report to the check-in counter later than 40 minutes prior to the planned departure time of the flight, you will no longer be allowed onto the flight. In this case, transavia.com is not liable for loss or costs of the passenger resulting from this and passengers lose their right to transport.

For flights from Paris-Orly and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol:
  • you may check in at one of the check-in counters at the airport from two and a half hours prior to departure.
  • You may report to the check-in counter until no later than 50 minutes prior to the planned departure time of the flight. The check-in counters close 40 minutes prior to the planned departure time of the flight.

For flights from other airports:
  • you may check in at one of the check-in counters at the airport from two hours prior to departure.
  • You may report to the check-in counter until no later than 40 minutes prior to the planned departure time of the flight. The check-in counters close 30 minutes prior to the planned departure time of the flight.
